Senior Software Engineer - .NET (U.S. REMOTE or Lincoln, NE)

Core Functions & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product and engineering to design to implement elegant and efficient solutions to business problems 
  • Deliver quality, secure, and sustainable software that meets customer needs 
  • Pursue continuous improvement in technical and non-technical personal development 
  • New feature development to meet product roadmap 
  • Work with QA to identify address defect fixes 
  • Maintain 70% code coverage through Unit/integration test development 
  • Work with Engineering Guild to address technical debt  
  • Work with Product to right-size stories and plan sprints  
  • Adhere to source control strategy and development best practices 
  • Participate in on-call technical support rotation 
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and department planning 
  • Assist in software deployments 
  • Perform code reviews to ensure delivery of high-quality code 
  • Assist with engineering mentorship 
  • Assist with onboarding new team members 
  • Technical documentation of feature and processes 


What we are looking for 

  • 5+ years of experience using: 
    • C# .NET/.NET Core 
    • SQL Server/Azure SQL 
  • Preferred experience using:
    • Social Media APIs (Twitter, Facebook) 
    • CQRS or Microservice architecture 
    • Javascript (React) 
    • Azure DevOps 
    • MSTest
    • Web API
